I first started Catling to provide a service which was clear and uncluttered and without frustrating ulterior motives. At the risk of a major cliché I truly do have a passion for homes and people and love to deliver above and beyond clients expectations. Starting my working life in large scale house building as a QS this became a good background to progress to project management and client side consultancy. I have a preference for the high end residential but just anything different is exciting and appealing. My Wife and I have two children both growing fast and try to do as much as a family as possible before they leave the nest !

I have worked with Richard previously and joined him at Catling in 2015, As a QS and Project manager I have been involved in some amazing projects both newbuild and refurbishment, I have a good working relationship with both the contractors and the clients and enjoy the flexibility to work with both. When I can I love to give my input on the design and have a broad knowledge of the construction process. Outside of Catling I am a published children’s Author and enjoy travelling, family life and Yoga.

Rob has been with the business since 2018 and brings a broad experience of Quantity Surveying and Project Management experience throughout the Residential sector. Starting his career specialising in multi-unit Social Housing Schemes, he has worked his way up through the high-end residential apartment sector in London before moving to the Super-Prime residential market for Developers and Main Contractors. Rob prides himself on his Technical knowledge, understanding of design and cost / build benefits of a variety of different construction methods, and his ability to step into a variety of roles to ensure each project is delivered to each Clients unique and exacting standards.

Amazing 12000 sqft home set in over an acre plot on the Kingswood estate with indoor pool, gym and leisure area
A secluded home tucked away in this prestigious surrey estate. This home was tired, dated and unloved when we were appointed by the new owners to provide a complete back to bare brick refurbishment of the entire property. Stone and timber floors new elegant balustrading and experimental finishes gave this project a really polished and classy appearance. This project was done at pace due to the clients need to occupy as soon as they could so planning and quick decision making were key without sacrificing the quality and aesthetics.
Bespoke double doors to the front of this home were finished in a bronze metallic liquid metal to blend with the internal ironmongery, light fittings and balustrade, our client knew what they wanted to achieve so we had to deliver.
